K: I’m a wardrobe stylist living in LA whose first thought every morning is, “what do I want for dinner? – because dinner is arguably the most satisfying meal of the day. You got apps; you got cocktails, you got dessert!
J: I’m Jason, I live in Los Angeles, and I’m from Orange County. I used to be a DJ, and now I host a podcast called How Long Gone with my friend Chris and do some creative consulting.
J: To me, home cooking is the real stuff. It’s cooking with your heart and soul, only for the people that you love enough to welcome in your house. It’s much easier to transfer love and spirit from one person to another through food when it’s prepared at home.
K: Oddly enough, cereal. Specifically, Banana Nut Crunch.
J: An extremely regular Turkey Sandwich... it’s the most boring of all deli meats, so it creates a blank canvas for more important flavors to shine.
J+K: Cooking together is cute, but we learned early on that there can be only one head chef and one sous chef for every meal. One person leads the meal, and the other is there to help with sides and clean up.
K: Butter, garlic, maldon, chili flake, ketchup.
J: Coffee, bread, butter, dark greens, labneh.
